Working Title

California College of the Arts Faculty Exhibition

Writer and curator Mara Holt Skov brought me on to design for and collaborate on the exhibition identity and space of the annual back-to-school exhibition .

Working Title explored diversity in the process of making as a way to share the open-ended nature of research to incoming students through explorations and finalized works created by artists, designers, writers, and craftspeople teaching at CCA.

Inspired by the many iterations that come before, I integrated my own process into the identity of the show. The layered effect began by stacking my many round one designs! As the poster evolved, I sharpened focus on the exhibition information, the five core topics of the show, and a visual foundation of words gathered from participants regarding their tools and process.
